Next year our family association will have its 100th anniversary. For this reason all De(h)nings are invited to celebrate this anniversary in Germany. As this is a once in a lifetime event, we’re planning a celebration weekend starting on August 4, 2023, and ending on August 6,2023.
We selected a central location, that is not only in the center of our forefather’s provenance but can also look back at a long-lasting history – Müden/Örtze (celebrated its 1000th anniversary in 2022). Additionally, it will also be the time when the heath will be in full bloom.
Following the schedule for the celebration weekend:
Friday, August 4, 2023:
Arrival as desired and check-in at your chosen accommodation followed by a meet and greet starting at 6pm at Gasthaus Heidesee in Müden/Örtze
(Please arrange reservation for your accommodation as soon as possible (main season); on page 4 you can find a selection of possible accommodations)
Saturday, August 5, 2023:
Morning, starting 10 am: 3 Activities to select from (get ready to be surprised!)
Afternoon, starting 2 pm: 3 Activities to select from (get ready to be surprised!)
Evening, starting 6 pm: Reception at the banqueting hall, traditional family photo, banquet where you can dance, connect, have fun, and enjoy German food and beverages.
Sonntag, 6. August 2023:
Morning: Guided tour in Müden/Örtze
On Saturday evening we will arrange an informing and amusing program, where we will also look back into the 100 years of our family association. If you have personal anecdotes, feel free to share them with us. You will also be able to have a look into our large ancestor database and add data.
